We are in search of an enthusiastic, conscientious, and diligent individual to join Mana Impact as an Investment Manager. The role of the manager is to lead a number of projects and tasks both internally within Mana as well as for our clients. The responsibilities include:

Active research, due diligence and analysis on investment opportunities across numerous asset classes including private equity, private debt, and public equities

Preparation of rigorous financial models, investment memos and recommendations for investment committee approvals

Leading the deal execution process, including negotiating term sheets and investment agreements

Monitoring of portfolio performance, including impact, financial, and risk metrics and preparing monthly / quarterly / annual performance reports of both underlying investments as well as at the portfolio level

Providing active support to the portfolio companies

Contributing to industry research and deal databases relevant to the existing and potential investments

Working closely with the firm's network of clients, advisors, and partners

We are looking for a candidate with a superb attitude who approaches projects and issues as a problem solver. The position requires that the candidate is a good team player who can work across multiple countries and generally possesses positive energy. The candidate should have a genuine interest in nature, the environment and climate change, as well as always being curious and have a willingness to learn.
The role comes with a tremendous amount of independence, which requires the candidate to be self-motivated and not hesitate to take initiative, and we expect a high level of creative- and critical thinking to support Mana’s growth.
Requirements include:

Strong business acumen with capabilities in the areas of financial analysis and legal negotiations

Must have at least 5 years deal execution experience in investment banking / buy side investment firm

Degree holder in Accounting, Finance, Business or Economics. CFA/CAIA qualification would be an advantage.

Proficient in Microsoft Office, key research databases for financial and investment resources

Robust experience and skills in financial modeling and associated skills

Familiar with a range of analytical tools, databases, software relevant for investments and portfolio management

Detail-oriented and high level of work quality
-
Excellent written, verbal communication skills and presentation skills in English.
