Impact Investment Intern (Full-time)

Location: Singapore

Internship Term: August - December

Relevant experience: minimally penultimate or final-year undergraduate students

​

Interested in exploring the impact investing space for sustainability? We are in search of an enthusiastic, conscientious and organized individual to join Mana Impact as an intern. The role of the intern is to support the team in various business activities including research, due diligence, financial analysis and portfolio management. 

 

Job responsibilities include:

​

  • Research and analysis in the areas of ocean health and sustainability, built environment, nature-based solutions, food and agriculture, and circular economy

  • Write up of blogs, reports and other thought leadership pieces

  • Development of various social media and communication materials

  • Update and maintain content on various databases

  • Evaluation of companies and industry for future investment

  • Supporting the writing of investment memos, when applicable

  • Support with ad-hoc client projects or requests

 

Requirements include:

​

  • Strong Microsoft Office skills (i.e. PowerPoint, Word, Excel)

  • Excellent English writing and communication skills. Knowledge of Mandarin, Bahasa, Cambodian, Thai or Tagalog is also useful.

  • Passion to contribute to the growth of impact investment in Asia

  • A high degree of attention to detail and accuracy

  • A strong work ethic, integrity and ability to work with confidential information

  • Excellent interpersonal skills, motivation and energy

  • Ability to work in a small team and highly adaptable to overall needs

  • Ability to work effectively under tight deadlines and manage multiple projects independently

  • Resourceful in solving problems

  • Fast learner with strong analytical skills

  • Be a university-level student

  • Must be eligible to work in Singapore
